Apple announces best Store apps and games of 2022, see full list

New Delhi. Apple has announced the winners of the 2022 App Store Awards. This year’s list of winners includes 16 apps and games. Announcing the winners, Apple said that these apps and games represent a diverse community of developers from around the world. Their apps and games are handpicked by Apple’s global App Store editing team for delivering exceptional experiences and making a cultural impact.

Social media platform app BeReal has got the title of iPhone App of the Year. Similarly, GoodNotes 5 from Time Base Technology Limited has been awarded as the iPad App of the Year. On the other hand, Legends Mobile from Electronic Arts has been voted Game of the Year for iPhone.

On this occasion, Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a statement that this year’s App Store Award winners have re-imagined our experience with new thoughtful and realistic perspective apps. He said that from self-thought solo creators to international teams spread across the globe, these people are making a meaningful impact on the industry and represent the ways in which apps and games affect our communities and lives.

iPhone App of the Year: Bereal.
iPad App of the Year: Goodnotes from Time Base Technology Ltd.
Mac App of the Year: MacFamilyTree from Sinium Software GmbH 10.
Apple TV App of the Year: TelevisaUnivision Interactive, Inc. Key ViX.
Apple Watch App of the Year: Gentler Streak by Gentler Stories LLC.

iPhone Game of the Year: Apex Legends Mobile by Electronic Arts. iPad Game of the Year: Moncage by XD Network Inc.

Apple Arcade Game of the Year: Wild Flowers by Studio Drydock Pvt. Ltd.
China Game of the Year: League of Legends Esports Manager of Tencent Tianyo Technology Ltd.

Apps and games with a cultural impact
In addition to recognizing the best apps and games on Apple devices, the company’s App Store editors selected five Cultural Impact winners who have made a lasting impact on people’s lives and culture. These include How We Feel, Dots Home, Locket Widget, Waterllama and Inua – A Story in Ice and Time.
