It gives details about the top consumer cyber security threats from July 2022 to September 2022.

According to the report of NortonLifelock, 4.7 million (about 47 million) people were blocked in India in September to deal with the threat level. Norton says that cybercriminals are offering bumper deals on electronics, jewellery, clothing and other products to lure people. These sites often feature polished storefronts and positive reviews. However, whenever a user orders a product, it is either a fake item or nothing is delivered.

Norton Labs claims that about 80 percent of websites accidentally or intentionally share search turn with advertisers. Also, trackers can get information from users’ website visits. Apart from this, they know the IP address of the users, the content domain of the website and much more. This may include sensitive information about your health and family. Advertisers use this information for you.

Norton Labs has said that customers should not buy any such product, whose price is very low and affordable. Also, users beware of websites that offer different payment options.
