Fertilizer subsidy can be available

The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has recommended the subsidy to the Ministry of Finance. The cost of fertilizer companies increased due to increase in gas prices.
In view of this, the government can announce subsidy to give relief to the companies. The Finance Ministry has started the round of pre-budget meetings. In the meeting with the Finance Ministry, the Fertilizer Ministry has demanded a subsidy of Rs 2.25 lakh crore.
