New Delhi. Good news has come out regarding employment in the country. In fact, the retirement fund body Employees Provident Fund Organization ie EPFO ​​has added 16.82 lakh subscribers in September 2022 on a net basis. This number is 9.14 percent more than in September 2021. The Labor Ministry gave this information in a statement released on Sunday.

Accordingly, around 2,861 new establishments have started complying with the EPF and MP Act, 1952 (Employees’ Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952) ensuring social security cover for their employees. According to EPFO, the number of employees (parole) kept on regular salary increased by 21.85 percent during September 2022 on an annual basis. During September, out of total 16.82 lakh members, about 9.34 lakh new members have come under the ambit of EPFO ​​for the first time.
