Gmail is our very useful platform. This is one of the most important apps especially for Android users. This is because we need gmail id to setup android phone. But many times when we open Gmail, we see that it is full of extra spam, newsletter and promotional emails. At times, they get so much spam in the inbox that important emails can be missed.
In such a situation, if you are also troubled by the unnecessary email of Gmail, then let us tell you about some easy ways by which you can clear your Gmail inbox and get rid of spam.
Unsubscribe from spam email and mass report
1) Log on to Gmail and select all spam emails you want to unsubscribe from (make sure you haven’t selected any important email IDs).
2) Click on the ‘i’ icon at the top and you will be shown the options of ‘Report Spam’ or ‘Report Spam and unsubscribe’.
3) Look for the ID in the list and if nothing important is shown here, then report spam and select the Unsubscribe option.
4) Now you will stop receiving emails from these accounts.

Apply Filters to Detect Spam Emails:-
1: Open Gmail, and click on the search box at the top, and unsubscribe to list all promotional emails.
2: Select all these spam emails, but make sure you cross-check them once. So that no such newsletter or mail is deleted that you use.
3: Click on the three dots at the top and select Filter messages like this.
4: Now click on Create Filter option and select what you want to do with these emails. If you want these emails to be deleted automatically, you can select the Delete it option by clicking on the Create a filter option.

5: You will get a pop-up at the bottom notifying you that a filter has been created. In addition to deleting, you can also choose to filter such emails by labeling them or marking them as read.
Use Temporary ID :-
When you share your primary Gmail ID on a random website, your ID is shared with many third-parties, and you run the risk of receiving spam emails. Sometimes spam emails can look legitimate, and you may click on phishing links that pose a risk to your personal information.
