New Delhi. Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (JIO) made a big jump on Saturday regarding 5G service. The company launched Wi-Fi services running on JioTrue5G network for the people. The special thing is that the company started JioTrue5G powered Wi-Fi from Nathdwara in Rajasthan. Nathdwara is considered one of the holiest places in the country.
According to the company, JioTrue5G has been specially designed for those places where there is a large crowd. Therefore, this service will be given especially at railway stations, bus stands, commercial hubs, education hubs and religious places. The number of people in these places is very high. While launching it, the company has taken another big step. Jio users will get this service for free during the Jio Welcome Period.
Other customers also benefit
Not only this, those using other networks will also be able to make limited use of Jio 5G powered Wi-Fi. But, if those people want to use the full service of Jio 5G powered Wi-Fi, then they will have to become a customer of Jio. Interestingly, to connect to Jio True 5G Wi-Fi, it is not necessary that the customer has a 5G handset. He can also connect to this service from 4G handset.
Service could be launched in these places
Along with JioTrue5G powered service, Jio’s True 5G service has also started in Nathdwara and Chennai. Earlier, the company has also launched 5G service in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi. Soon Jio 5G service will start in other cities as well. For this the company is working day and night. The company’s focus is also to increase the availability of True 5G handsets.
Ambani told for whom is 5G service
Akash Ambani, chairman of Reliance Jio said, “By the grace of Lord Shrinath ji, today 5G powered WiFi service is being launched in Nathdwara with the service of Jio True 5G. We believe that 5G is for everyone, so it is our endeavor that Jio’s True 5G service should be operational in every nook and corner of the country like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi. With the blessings of Shrinath ji, Nathdwara and Chennai have also become Jio True 5G cities from today.”
