New Delhi. The next-generation MG Hector can be launched in India next year. Earlier it was planned to launch in November 2022, but now it has been pushed forward. It is believed that the company can launch it on January 5, 2023. The automaker has been sharing the teaser of MG Hector through its social media platform for some time now.
Talking about the design of the new MG Hector, it will get a new diamond mesh grille, which will get a new front bumper and remodeled air dam. The company says that the Argyle inspired diamond mesh grille will give the new Hector a bold, commanding and powerful stance. The bold design of the grille is said to have been carefully crafted to pair with the Hector’s signature DRLs, which further enhances its commanding presence.
The interior will be awesome
Talking about the interiors of the new SUV, the next generation Hector will get a 14-inch HD portrait infotainment screen. Its special thing is that it is going to be available in a car for the first time in India, which will be equipped with next-generation i-Smart technology. It will support both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The automaker said the interiors of the next-gen Hector have been conceptualized as a ‘symphony of luxury’. The interiors of the next-gen Hector have been designed to offer a cinematic and immersive experience.
What will be the price?
Talking about the engine of the new 2023 MG Hector, it will get the same engine as the current model. It will have the option of 1.5-litre petrol engine, 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid motor and 2.0-litre diesel engine. The new MG Hector will compete with the Tata Harrier and Jeep Compass. Talking about the price of the SUV, it can be higher than the current model.
