New Delhi. Smartphone device maker Oppo India has announced that most of their 5G devices will now support Jio’s standalone 5G network. In its statement, Oppo has said that the company, in collaboration with Reliance Jio, has created devices that will work at ultra high speed and near zero latency for immersive and true 5G experience.

The company has claimed that any new 5G device launched by Oppo India will be able to run on a standalone network. Please tell that only Reliance Jio operates 5G standalone network in India. Oppo has started rolling out a software update to its 5G devices that support the standalone 5G network.

These models have already received software updates
The software on the Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, Reno 7, F21 Pro 5G, F19 Pro+, K10 and A53s devices has already been updated. The second model will also be upgraded soon.

All our upcoming 5G devices will be compatible with standalone and non-standalone networks.

Praising the Jio True 5G wireless network technology, Oppo India called it the world’s most advanced technology. In the statement, Oppo said that Jio is the only true 5G network in India and listed many features of the Jio True 5G network.

1) Stand-alone 5G architecture network with zero dependency on 4G networks.

2) 5G is the biggest and best mix of spectrum in the 700 MHz, 3500 MHz and 26 GHz bands.

3) Using carrier aggregation technology, Jio creates a strong ‘data highway’ of these 5G frequencies.
