New Delhi. Due to the fall in the prices of crude oil in the global market during the last 24 hours, the prices of petrol and diesel in the retail market have also changed. Government oil companies have released retail of petrol and diesel on Thursday morning, in which prices have come down in some cities of UP and Bihar. However, even today oil prices have not changed in the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai.

According to the rate released by the government oil companies, in Gautam Budh Nagar district (Noida-Greater Noida) this morning, the price of petrol has increased by 18 paise to Rs 96.94 per liter and diesel by 18 paise to Rs 90.11 per liter. In Ghaziabad, petrol became cheaper by 18 paise and reached Rs 96.40 a liter, while diesel was cheaper by 17 paise to Rs 89.58 a liter. In Patna, the capital of Bihar, the rate of petrol has fallen by 35 paise to Rs 107.24 per liter, while diesel is being sold by 32 paise to Rs 94.04 per liter.

If we talk about crude oil, then its prices have also come down in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude fell by $ 2.71 to $ 92.65 per barrel. At the same time, the rate of WTI is selling at $ 85.87 per barrel, down by about one dollar.

Petrol and diesel prices in all four metros
– Petrol in Delhi Rs 96.65 and Diesel Rs 89.82 per liter
– Petrol in Mumbai Rs 106.31 and diesel Rs 94.27 per liter
– Petrol in Chennai Rs 102.63 and diesel Rs 94.24 per liter
– Petrol in Kolkata Rs 106.03 and diesel Rs 92.76 per liter

Rates changed in these cities
Petrol in Noida has become Rs 96.94 and diesel Rs 90.11 per liter.
Petrol in Lucknow has become Rs 96.43 and diesel Rs 89.63 per liter.
In Patna, petrol has become Rs 107.24 and diesel Rs 94.04 per liter.
Petrol in Ghaziabad has become Rs 96.40 and diesel Rs 89.58 per liter.

New rates are released every morning at 6 am
Petrol and diesel prices change every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am onwards. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
