New Delhi. Zomato, a platform that provides online delivery of food items, has suffered a major setback. Company’s co-founder Mohit Gupta has resigned from the company. This is the third major resignation in Zomato in recent weeks.

Zomato’s new initiative head and former food delivery Rahul Ganju has also resigned from the company this week. Earlier, Siddharth Jhawar, head of the company’s Intercity Legends Service, had resigned from the company.

Mohit Gupta was associated with the company for the last 4 and a half years
Mohit Gupta was associated with the company for the last 4 and a half years. He joined the company in the year 2018 as the head of the food delivery segment. Later in 2021, he got the status of co-founder in the company and started looking at its new businesses. Whereas Ganju was made the CEO of food delivery. Prior to joining Zomato, Mohit Gupta was the CEO of online travel platform MakeMyTrip.

zomato started using bags with phone numbers written on them
Recently Zomato has started using delivery bags with ‘hotline phone numbers’ written on them. With this, complaints can be made on those numbers in case of bad driving by its delivery partners. Company’s founder Deepinder Goyal gave this information recently.
